The practice of tuning is to modify a standard vehicle using of tuning accessories and tuning kit to improve performance and the attraction of the vehicle. Historically tuning is considered born in the United States and then being developed in Japan and Europe. The exercise of tuning continues to grow since its inception. In fact more and more countries have taken part in this movement and have developed their own styles of tuning. Focus today about the different variants to date tuning.
There are currently twenty tuning styles from various countries. Each continent has developed its own expertise in tuning.
- European styles
Style Euro-tuning has nothing special, but is characterized by only customizations made to the engine, the exterior and rims. The best known is the European Portuguese tuning , considered the number one in Europe, it takes the form of tribal decorations and wheels 50 inches in diameter.In contrast we find the German look for which sobriety premium on eccentricity.
- Japanese styles
Japanese tuning is very focused on motorsport. We thus find the style Sleepers which means "sleeper" in English. It is to change the mechanical parts such as the chassis and suspension systems. There is also the Japan look very focused on multimedia. This style is very luxurious and is found more in the living room tuning.
- The styles of the United States
There are also many styles of tuning the United States, which serves as a precursor in the field.Among the best known include the Donk style which consists of tuner cars midrange 1990s by adding oversized tires and rims as well as quite fanciful colors.
